UNC National Champions: Roy Williams the GOAT

By now everybody knows that the University of North Carolina won the National Championship last night beating Gonzaga 71-65 but it begs the question: Is Roy Williams the greatest NCAA basketball coach of all-time?

Good question and I think it's an easy YES.

Williams record speaks for itself. Gonzaga came out firing last night and led what had to be %95 of the first half. North Carolina's shooting was off as they shot right around %30 but then the second half came and you could tell something had changed. Down by 7 several times they kept coming back. With under a minute to go the Tar Heels took the lead and I could tell they weren't going to let it go.

Dean Smith may have 63 more wins than Williams, but Williams has one more national championship on is belt.
